1. Introduction

Thank you for registering for RKM events (“we,” “our,” “us”). We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be provided for our running events.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • Refund requests must be made within 3 days of your registration date and no later than 30 days before the event date.
  • The registration fee is the only refundable item; other items such as merchandise, charitable donations, and service fees are non-refundable.
  • Special early bird or promotional registrations may have different refund conditions, which will be specified at the time of registration.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • The event is canceled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, or other acts of God.
  • You are unable to attend the event due to personal reasons or scheduling conflicts after the refund deadline.
  • Merchandise, charitable donations, and additional services purchased during registration.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team at runningkakimalaysia@gmail.com within the eligible refund period.
  2. Provide your registration number, the reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation if necessary.

5. Processing Your Refund

Once we receive your refund request, we will:

  • Review your request and notify you of the status of your refund within 7 business days.
  • If your request is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
  • You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

6. Transfers and Deferrals

If you are unable to participate in the event, you may have the option to transfer your registration to another participant or defer your registration to the next event. 7. Event Cancellation or Postponement

If the event is canceled or postponed, we will notify all registered participants as soon as possible. Participants will have the option to:

  • Transfer their registration to the rescheduled event date.
  • Defer their registration to the next year’s event.
  • Request a partial refund if applicable (specific conditions will be provided in the notification).
